My consulting practice draws on over fifteen years of field research, UN-system programme design, and direct experience advising EU research centres and universities. Below are the seven areas where I most often work with clients, each grounded in published methodology and field-tested protocols.

01Strategic Foresight & Horizon Scanning

For organisations that need to anticipate how social, technological, environmental, economic, and political trends will reshape their domain. I design and facilitate participatory processes, Delphi surveys, horizon scanning workshops, scenario development, and cross-impact analysis, then translate results into actionable strategic intelligence.

Relevant for: international organisations, NGOs, research institutions, public health agencies.

02Ergonomics Consulting & Workplace Risk Assessment

I assess and help prevent biomechanical and psychophysical risks in occupational settings, deploying validated wearable protocols and observational methods across manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, and office environments.

Relevant for: companies, public health authorities, HR and safety departments.

03Wearable Technology & Psychophysiological Assessment

Measurement protocols using commercial and research-grade wearables (EEG, ECG, cortisol, actigraphy, motion sensors), designed and validated for the setting they will be used in. Experience with Zephyr BioHarness, Fitbit, Garmin, and WHOOP.

Relevant for: research teams, mHealth startups, sports and occupational health programmes.

04Scientific Advisory for Startups & Accelerators

I provide independent scientific validation of frameworks, methodologies, and products at the intersection of human factors, digital health, and psychometrics, contributing to experimental design, peer-reviewed publications, and research-to-product translation.

Since June 2026, I have been Scientific Advisor to Kakashi Venture Accelerator, reviewing the methodological validity of their scoring framework and AI orchestration architecture, co-designing the experimental protocol for its validation on larger samples, and contributing to peer-reviewed publications on the results.

Relevant for: startups, venture accelerators, innovation labs.

05OSH Training

I deliver occupational safety and health training programmes in English and Italian, in compliance with Italian and EU legislation (D.Lgs. 81/08). Experience with ENI, the Joint Research Centre (Ispra), and SMEs across manufacturing and construction.

Relevant for: companies with medium-to-high OSH risk, workers' representatives, multinational teams.

06Research Design & Science Communication

I support research teams on study design, systematic review methodology, manuscript preparation, and policy brief writing, with a proven track record against WHO/ILO evidence standards.

In 2026 I was commissioned by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA, Bilbao) to write an expert article on the implications of climate change, and of heat at work in particular, for workers' safety and health in the construction sector, reviewing the available evidence and case examples of preventive measures.

Relevant for: academic teams, think tanks, international organisations.

07Lecturing & Academic Teaching

Guest lectures, university modules, and executive education on occupational health, strategic foresight, ergonomics, and the future of work, delivered in English and Italian. Includes teaching at the University of Milan, training programmes for ENI and the Joint Research Centre (Ispra), and international conference keynotes and panel contributions (IEA, HCII, ILO).

Relevant for: universities, business schools, executive education programmes, international organisations.

The person behind the work

Rigorous does not have to mean distant

Behind every audit, protocol, and foresight programme is a simple conviction: good science is only useful when it reaches the people it is meant to serve, in language they can act on.

I bring the same care to a boardroom, a factory floor, and a research lab. If that is the kind of partner you are looking for, I would be glad to hear what you are working on.
